Today, finding fault shames me.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty years ago, snowmobiling and water skiing made me happy. Today, those activities sound loud, cold, and tiring.<\/p>\n<p>Ten years ago, a couple minutes of free time by myself made me happy. Today, in the empty nest stages of my life, free time can be unhappy time.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the birth of a baby made me happy. Today, the child\u2019s growth makes me happy.<\/p>\n<p>Happiness is<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/everydayspirituality\/2013\/12\/form-a-circle-and-move-on.html\"> independent<\/a>, not dependent on any particular event or person.
