Even when we think we do know a person, something comes up to surprise us. The good surprises are nice. The bad surprises aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Well, it\u2019s just a hard to get to know God. Even when we think we do know God, we need to be on our toes because God is infinite, ever revealing.<\/p>\n<p>God won\u2019t change because of what\u2019s happening on earth. So, knowing the world isn\u2019t particularly beneficial to<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/everydayspirituality\/2014\/10\/i-dont-want-to-be-afraid-of-god.html\"> knowing God<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>God isn\u2019t changing. God is constantly manifesting life, truth, and love.<\/p>\n<p>It takes a lot of effort to witness to this constant unfoldment. Sometimes, I want to take a nap, or be angry and forget to relish the life, truth, and love.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, God knows us and this knowing helps us <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/everydayspirituality\/2014\/06\/one-cause-and-effect.html\">know God<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>From <em>21<sup>st<\/sup> Century Science and Health:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople are more than a material shell with a mind stuck inside. Spirituality is more than a soul trying to escape a human experience in order to be immortal. We reflect infinity, and this reflection is the true idea of God.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpiritual selfhood is infinitely being expressed, broadening and ascending from a boundless basis. Mind manifests all that exists in the infinitude of Truth. The only way we will know our true self, is to know God properly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe infinite Principle is reflected by the infinite idea and spiritual individuality, but the human ego and physical senses have no cognizance of either Principle or its idea.
