The sun didn\u2019t need to become the earth in order to shine light on it. Earth is benefited indirectly, through sunshine. We can learn from this but first let\u2019s go way back to see just how.<\/p>\n<p>The accepted model of the solar system thousands of years ago was earth centered\u2014geocentric. The idea of a sun centered system\u2014heliocentric\u2014came about before Christ but it didn\u2019t gain popularity until the 16<sup>th<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n<p>People interpret what they read according to their accepted models therefore ancient readers of the Bible convinced themselves that the Bible teaches a geocentric model. Fortunately,<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/everydayspirituality\/2012\/10\/exploring-god-is-like-exploring-nature.html\"> science<\/a> proved the validity of the heliocentric model and humanity acts with more certainty. But, human egos still fight to be the center of attention.<\/p>\n<p>Human egos have an embedded belief that everything is revolves around them. Bible readers even go so far as to interpret the Bible to say God created human beings even though this generates nothing but problems.<\/p>\n<p>A God-centered idea is<a href=\"http:\/\/healingsciencetoday.wordpress.com\/2012\/04\/17\/finding-signs-of-renewal-in-my-oft-maligned-religion\/\"> gaining momentum<\/a> however. God, also known as divine Mind, Life, Truth, Love, Soul, Principle, Spirit, is not human and did not create human beings, but created spiritual beings.<\/p>\n<p>A few verses from the Bible that can easily be twisted to suit the human egos thinking are from Matthew 1:23 and John 10:30. We read in Matthew, \u201cThe virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means \u2018God with us\u2019).\u201d And we read in John a statement attributed to Christ Jesus, \u201cI and the Father are one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The sun and its light are one. The sun and the earth are not one.<\/p>\n<p>To a God centered model, these verses signify that even though human beings are not like God, they still can get out of themselves and into Spirit. Paul said, \u201cFor in him we live and move and have our being.\u201d (Acts 17:28) As we stop identifying our self with a human ego and identify with the Christ spirit, \u201cthe new creation has come.\u201d (II Cor. 5:17) \u201cDear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known.
