And they would have called him Zechariah after his father, <sup>60\u00a0<\/sup>but his mother answered, \u201cNo; he shall be called John.\u201d <sup>61\u00a0<\/sup>And they said to her, \u201cNone of your relatives is called by this name.\u201d <sup>62\u00a0<\/sup>And they made signs to his father, inquiring what he wanted him to be called. <sup>63\u00a0<\/sup>And he asked for a writing tablet and wrote, \u201cHis name is John.\u201d And they all wondered. <sup>64\u00a0<\/sup>And immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, blessing God. <sup>65\u00a0<\/sup>And fear came on all their neighbors. And all these things were talked about through all the hill country of Judea, <sup>66\u00a0<\/sup>and all who heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, \u201cWhat then will this child be?\u201d For the hand of the Lord was with him.
