I\u2019ve concluded, although they all speak the English language, they have their own language within that language. And, if I don\u2019t try really hard to understand them, there is a communication gap.<\/p>\n<p>The staff on a college campus has their own language.<\/p>\n<p>The car repair persons have their own dialect.<\/p>\n<p>Scientists have their vernacular.<\/p>\n<p>Computer programmers have their own lingo.<\/p>\n<p>Religionists have their own idiom.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s all rather myopic when I think about it. But it can be hilarious.<\/p>\n<p>My son-in-law, a computer coder at Microsoft was speaking with my computer illiterate Uncle. They were meeting for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Uncle: \u201cSo, what do you do?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Son-in-law: \u201cI work with Windows.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Uncle: \u201cReally, do you wash or install windows?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><sup>&#8220;<\/sup>And how do we hear, each one <em>of us<\/em>, in <em>our own native language<\/em>?&#8221;&#8211;Acts 2:8, Lexham English Bible<\/p>\n<p>From the Preface of <em><a href=\"http:\/\/bookstore.trafford.com\/Products\/SKU-000137087\/21st-Century-Science-and-Health-with-Key-to-the-Scriptures.aspx\">21st Century Science and Health<\/a>, <\/em>&#8220;The vital components of <em>21<sup>st<\/sup> Century Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures <\/em>are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of the latest research made in technical, Biblical, religious, and medical study<\/li>\n<li>New vocabulary from the expanding English language and today\u2019s idiom<\/li>\n<li>Footnotes<\/li>\n<li>The use of modern English versions of the Bible<\/li>\n<li>Treatment of today\u2019s social issues<\/li>\n<li>Movement toward a gender-inclusive language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Great effort was taken to keep the original meaning of divine Science intact.
