On Friday, Mary Beth and I will share our 30th Valentine\u2019s Day. But to be honest, we don\u2019t celebrate in traditional fashion. We don\u2019t exchange gifts and dinner is typically at a sport\u2019s bar over beer and wings, not over candlelight.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not that the romance is dead in our marriage \u2013 far from it. It\u2019s just that we try to show love and be<\/em> love<\/a> to each other every day of the year. <\/p>\n

So, there are still candlelight dinners in our marriage. Mary Beth and I have found that we are more comfortable enjoying those dinners on the nights when we want to; not on the nights we feel like we have to.<\/p>\n

Here are 30 reasons why I will always love my wife. I share them with a grateful heart so love has one more voice it can use to change the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\tMary Beth is my best friend.

\n2.\tMy wife is an amazing mother and parent.
\n
\n3.\tShe never quits on herself, or on us.
\n
\n4.\tMy wife still loves to cuddle.
\n
\n5.\tShe shows me I\u2019m worthy to be loved.
\n
\n6.\tMary Beth gives me all the time I need to write.
\n
\n7.\tShe still likes to hold hands when we take our after-dinner walks.
\n
\n8.\tI can\u2019t imagine life without her.
\n
\n9.\tMy wife is committed to improving the lives of others.
\n
\n10.\tMary Beth rolls up the tube of toothpaste for me.
\n
\n11.\tHer spirit shines so bright.
\n
\n12.\tShe is the Yin to my Yang.
\n
\n13.\tMary Beth thinks I\u2019m a wonderful parent, partner and man.
\n
\n14.\tShe knows what the baseball term \u201cunproductive out\u201d means.
\n
\n15.\tMy wife whispers, \u201cI love you,\u201d before falling asleep.

\n20.\tMy wife never backs down from her beliefs.

\n21.\tShe opens my eyes to the goodness in me.

\n22.\tWhen I hug her, I get the feeling she\u2019ll never let go.

\n23.\tEven with four children, she keeps a whole heart for each one.
