The stress can make it extremely difficult to enjoy the good things life has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of the stress comes from situations that are completely outside of your control. Sometimes, you may even start to focus more on the downs and less on the ups. This isn\u2019t good for you physically or mentally and it can disrupt every aspect of you life. <\/p>\n<p>But stress doesn\u2019t have to a focal point in your life. <strong>Here\u2019s a simple guide to stressing less and enjoying life more.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Change your focus<\/strong>. When you feel stress start to creep in, think of one thing you can do to make it better. That is what you focus on, rather than all the things you can\u2019t do. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Keep a journal<\/strong>. Write down your thoughts and concerns and leave them there. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Put on positive, inspirational music<\/strong>. Let the uplifting messages surround you and lift you up, blocking out stressful thoughts. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Create something beautiful<\/strong>. If you have a hobby, dedicate 10 to 15 minutes a day to drawing, crafting, sewing or whatever it is that you enjoy. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Surround yourself with positive people<\/strong>. Seek people who will encourage you to enjoy life without focusing on the negative side of things. Use your close friends and family as sounding boards. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Get outdoors and turn your face up to the sun<\/strong>. If you have five minutes, take a short walk. Exercise and sunlight are excellent stress eliminators. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Pray<\/strong>. Rely on your faith to help you put things in perspective. Leave your troubles in God\u2019s hands. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Learn deep breathing techniques<\/strong>. When you feel stress starting to take over, practice deep breathing and breathe away the feeling. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Laugh<\/strong>. Laughter truly is the best medicine. Laugh at whatever it is that is stressing you out. Laugh with your friends or watch a funny show. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Grab a book and head to a quiet corner<\/strong>.
