According to this MSNBC article<\/a>, Audra Harmon, a 38-year-old mother of three, was stopped,
\nTasered, handcuffed, and arrested while her kids were left frightened and
\nunattended in her minivan for something like 40 minutes.  The incident began like this,<\/span> Harmon told the Today Show’s<\/i> Meredith Vieira:<\/span><\/p>\n

“I was driving with my hand on
\nmy cheek, and I think that’s what he saw,” Harmon told Vieira. “After I had
\ngiven him the chance to look in my purse, check for a cell phone, then he manufactured
\nthe ticket with speeding. Again, I told him that he was wrong; I wasn’t
\nspeeding, either. Then we went back and forth.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/p>\n

It got worse from there, eventually resulting in the cop dragging Audra out of her car and Tasering her not once, but twice.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Suing’s appropriate and all, but in this case, I say, a Tase
\nfor a Tase. Let this zapper-happy cop feel what it’s like to get shocked on the
\nside of the road – in front of his kids – during a routine traffic stop, and
\nsee if he’s so quick to whip out his stun-gun a second time.<\/span><\/p>\n
