In my car commute this morning, after trying to merge back onto the highway and being made to wait by lots of selfish motorists, I am reminded of the Golden Rule.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Do unto others as you want them to do unto you.”<\/p>\n
Gosh, I’d just stopped at a gas station and was trying to make my way back to the main road. But no; no one would let me in! \u00a0Car after car sped up. It seemed they couldn’t care less about anyone other than themselves.<\/p>\n
Haven’t they ever needed to merge or change lanes? \u00a0What if I saw one of them trying to merge? \u00a0And just sped up arrogantly?<\/p>\n
I would let them in. If anything I’d want to avoid an accident! I do my best to be aware of others and their needs. Just as I need others to give me a break or helping hand.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We are all in this life together. We need to help each other merge–either into the fast lane or at least onto life’s highway.\u00a0<\/p>\n
