{"id":788,"date":"2010-12-20T08:58:23","date_gmt":"2010-12-20T08:58:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/drnorrischumleysatisfiedlife\/2010\/12\/oh-so-many-minis.html"},"modified":"2010-12-20T08:58:23","modified_gmt":"2010-12-20T08:58:23","slug":"oh-so-many-minis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/drnorrischumleysatisfiedlife\/2010\/12\/oh-so-many-minis.html","title":{"rendered":"Oh So Many Minis!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was in New York again over the weekend.&nbsp; Our son took me to a very hip and cool burger place.&nbsp; They sell mini burgers.&nbsp; Here&#8217;s one:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"mini-burger.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/mini-burger.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-center\" style=\"text-align: center;margin: 0pt auto 20px\" height=\"476\" width=\"478\" \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<div>It was oh-so-delicious, but only about 4 bites!&nbsp; They sell two of them for $7.50.&nbsp; Pretty pricey, I say.&nbsp; A good idea, though, for those of us who love cheeseburgers, but don&#8217;t want to eat much of them, as they are so fattening, caloric and (well, call it like it is) unhealthy!<\/p>\n<p>Then, I got interested in this &#8220;mini food&#8221; or &#8220;dollhouse food&#8221; movement.&nbsp; I passed by Crumbs bakery, too, and discovered a world of mini-cupcakes, like these for the holidays:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"mini-cupcakes.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/79\/import\/mini-cupcakes.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-center\" style=\"text-align: center;margin: 0pt auto 20px\" height=\"520\" width=\"520\" \/><\/span><\/div>\n<p>Aren&#8217;t they cute?&nbsp; I could eat dozens.&nbsp; On no!&nbsp; I will not by the grace of God.&nbsp; Turns out, Crumbs is a really hip and highly popular bakery found in several cities in the east (centered around New York) and west (centered around L.A.).&nbsp; Check them out.&nbsp; They are as good as they look.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m into this mini-food thing, though.
