Write what you&#8217;re thinking and doing. Talk on<br \/>\npaper about what and how much you are eating, and what you&#8217;re doing to<br \/>\nmove your body and nourish your mind and spirit.<br \/>\nOne of my recommendations to people wishing to lose weight and improve<br \/>\ntheir health is to first keep a diary of everything they eat and what<br \/>\nactivities they do on a daily basis. <\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s more on this in my book,<br \/>\n&#8220;The Joy of Weight Loss,&#8221; and variations can be found in other behavior<br \/>\nmodification programs as well.<br \/>\nThen over time, by keeping diaries you can analyze the information.<br \/>\nYou&#8217;ll see where you are doing well and spot areas where you&#8217;d like to<br \/>\nimprove.<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve kept diaries off and on for 20+ years, and love going back and<br \/>\nreading about different times in my life.
