Wrap yourself around a project.&nbsp; Get work done.&nbsp; Distract yourself.<\/p>\n<p>If you feel that you&#8217;re worthless, try doing something that can show yourself as valuable and competent.&nbsp; Even little things are good proof: getting a bill paid on time, doing laundry, arriving at your job on time (or even early).<\/p>\n<p>If you feel you&#8217;re unsuccessful, try identifying something in the past that you did that helped someone.&nbsp; Doing a favor for a friend, running an errand for someone, being a good listener are good examples.<\/p>\n<p>If you feel stupid or uneducated, remind yourself that you&#8217;re taking the time to read this &#8211; you are educating yourself, working to be better.&nbsp; That&#8217;s valuable!&nbsp; How many people take the time for self-improvement?&nbsp; Not many, and certainly not enough.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever you do, once you have identified the feeling, honored its existence, and then moved on &#8211; let it be in the past.&nbsp; Remember it&#8217;s just a feeling, it&#8217;s not a truth.<\/p>\n<p>You are important, valuable and belong in this world.&nbsp; God created you, so you&#8217;re important to God, and to His creation.<\/p>\n<p>PLEASE COMMENT and share some ways you are helpful to others, competent, smart, and taking the time to learn and be your best self.&nbsp; That will help others just hearing about the steps you&#8217;ve taken to feel better about yourself.&nbsp; (All of us have low self-esteem feelings, you&#8217;re not alone.)<\/p>\n<p><a>And please follow me on Twitter.&nbsp; I post several new ideas and tips every day, exclusively for Twitter followers. www.twitter.com\/drnorrischumley<\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I find the best way to move on and recover from low self-esteem, is to get moving.
