This week brought lots of deep and insightful comments, particularly from last week’s article, “What I learned from Easter and Passover.”  Please take a look and add your comment to it<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So many people opened up and shared their pain, heartache and lessons learned.  I am very moved from reading about you, and send my assurance that all is well with God – don’t worry, just take action as best you can in partnership with God.<\/p>\n

One comment from Anne struck me in particular.  To me, she defines what I mean by having a “Satisfied Life,” one full of joy and happiness, which means to be able to bear the hardships and still find purpose and meaning in one’s life, through making do and doing God’s will, keeping a positive attitude with God in your heart, and helping others.<\/p>\n

“It hurts me to hear about so much pain. I have had much pain in my life including the loss of a daughter who was only six days old. My husband, mother and father have all passed on. It is only me and my two cats. I have one living brother but he is in South Carolina while I am in New York. Yet I have to say that I am truly blessed. I have an apartment and friends. I am on disability and see a therapist weekly. I am able to get by on disability. I see food prices going up, up and up. But I volunteer at a soup kitchen and get lunch for free five days a week. I am content with what I have and don’t really see what a lot of money would bring me. I think having a lot of money brings a lot of problems also. Happiness is something you feel in your heart, you can’t buy it. I go to church and I thank God for every day that I wake up drug free and in my right mind.”<\/p>\n
