She is avidly passionate about education, women\u2019s empowerment, cross cultural communication, and the welfare of children.<\/p>\n<p>Some monarchs might shy away from modern technology but\u00a0she welcomes it. Queen Rania keeps lively accounts with Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter with over 600,000 followers. Not only do these <a id=\"itxthook0\" href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/Inspiration\/Galleries\/Extraordinary-Women-of-Our-Time.aspx?p=2#\" rel=\"nofollow\">social media<\/a> outlets connect her with people around the world but they also increase East-West dialogue and understanding. As a Goodwill Ambassador she has travelled extensively around the world to places such as Iraq, Thailand and Kosovo.
