It frightens me just how much social control can exist in a culture. Look at North Korea as an example. I was shocked to discover that news about the Kim Jong II’s death didn’t leak for two days. That’s a lifetime in the media. People there, and everywhere, deserve a chance to speak out and to be heard. If we aren’t hearing about this huge news piece then we obviously aren’t hearing about so many other things. Strict social control not only harms people today but can harm future generations, too.<\/p>\n
