Here&#8217;s a few simple tricks to lessen the effects of post Christmas fatigue.<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Proper Sleep.<\/strong> Your body might need a few nights of good, restful sleep before it starts feeling normal again. Expect and prepare for that. If your mind won\u2019t let you sleep well at night, take power naps during the day. Naps are a great and simple way to recharge your batteries. Even a 30 minute snooze can invigorate you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>Hydrate Yourself.<\/strong> Your body needs 1-2 litres of water a day. Caffeine and alcohol dehydrate your body, so it\u2019s essential that you restore balance to your body\u2019s water supply. Take a water bottle along with you to work or activities. Juice also hydrates but be aware that acid levels may cause other problems for your body, like too much stomach acid or wear on teeth enamel.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>Cut Caffeine.<\/strong> Caffeine raises your adrenaline. It also dehydrates you. Dehydration leads to stress, which is not what you want. If you absolutely need your coffee fix, cut down the number of coffees you have.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>Avoid Diets.<\/strong> You\u2019ve put on a few pounds and I mean only a few. Why do you need to get rid of the weight overnight? Dieting is stressful. It isn\u2019t a solution to long-term weight loss and unbalances hormones. Dieting also wrecks havoc on self-esteem. Remember, you are beautiful right now.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>Be Realistic.\u00a0<\/strong>Know your limits. If you feel tired or overwhelmed, ask for help. Pace yourself.
