Big news<\/a> in the media world, as the nation’s largest Catholic publisher announces that it has absorbed another publishing house: <\/p>\n

<\/a>Catholic publisher Our Sunday Visitor Inc.<\/a> says it has acquired Harcourt Religion Publishers from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Co.<\/p>\n

Terms of the deal were not disclosed in an announcement Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Huntington-based Our Sunday Visitor, which publishes a national weekly newspaper, magazines, books and other religious materials, says the acquisition will solidify its ability to reach million of Catholics while extending the reach of Harcourt’s Catholic school curriculum.<\/p>\n

Our Sunday Visitor says it will retain Harcourt’s existing management team, support staff, field representatives and product line.<\/p>\n
