I stumbled upon the trailer for the Coen Brothers’ reboot of “True Grit,” with Jeff Bridges taking on the thankless task of sliding into John Wayne’s boots as Rooster Cogburn. I have to admire the spunk of a movie whose tagline (at the end of the trailer) is “Retribution. This Christmas.” You can see the trailer below. And just below that, the trailer for the original from over 40 years ago (has it REALLY been that long?!)<\/p>\n
