Heavenly Father, we give honor and praise to your name. <\/div>\n
\nAll power is from you and we thank you for the gift of your son,
\nJesus Christ, and for his sacrifice for us on Calvary.<\/p>\n

We humbly ask you to be with your servant, Pope Benedict, <\/p>\n

as he travels to the United Kingdom.
\nGrant him strength, endurance, and the power of the Holy Spirit
\nto reach the many people who will come to see him,
\nas well as watch and hear him around the world.  <\/p>\n

Lord, we ask for you to be with the many people <\/p><\/div>\n

who will see Pope Benedict in Scotland and England,
\nas well as those who will follow this trip but won’t be there in person.
\nThese children of yours come with hungry hearts and souls
\nthat seek rest in a turbulent, often confusing world.
\nMay they find the peace, strength, comfort and protection
\nfor their own journeys, and then empower them to share their gifts
\nin their own parishes and churches,
\nadding to the blessings from this Papal trip.  <\/p>\n

For those who do not believe in you, we also pray.
\nMay they come to know that there is a Savior,
\nA Father, who loves them, died for them and accepts them as His very own.
\nMay these souls find you as they seek the truth.<\/p>\n

We pray for unity for Christ’s Church, <\/p><\/div>\n

 that all Christians will unite in the truth and the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
\nIt is in Jesus’ name that we pray,
