He was Greg the Great. On a good day, I’m Greg the Adequate.”)<\/p>\n

God our Father,
\nyour rule is a rule of love,
\nyour providence is full of mercy for your people.
\nThrough the intercession of Saint Gregory
\ngrant the spirit of wisdom to those you have placed in authority,
\nso that the spiritual growth of the people may bring eternal joy to the pastors.
\nThrough our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
\nwho lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
\nGod for ever and ever.<\/p>\n
