A friend dropped me an e-mail earlier today to give me a heads-up about a beautiful new Catholic church that’s being built in Brewster, New York. He thought I’d be especially interested, because I serve at a gorgeous Gothic-style building, completed in 1941.<\/p>\n

The new church is St. Lawrence O’Toole. <\/p>\n

When I show off my parish, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Forest Hills,<\/a> I like to tell people, “They don’t build ’em like this anymore.”  Well, evidently, I’m wrong.  This looks like it’s going to be a wonderful church.  The only thing missing is a bell tower!  \ud83d\ude42  <\/p>\n
