\n
Today Anne brings us glad tidings,
\nbearing in her arms the precious fruit that dispels all sorrow,
\nthe one being ever-precious fruit that dispels all sorrow,
\nthe one being ever-virginal.
\nIn fulfillment of her vow,
\nshe joyfully presents on this day in the Lord’s temple
\nthe true tabernacle of the Word of God,
\nHis immaculate Mother.<\/p>\n

\n
Today is the prelude to God’s munificence
\nand the announcement of the salvation of men:
\nin the temple of God the Virgin is visible to all foretelling the coming of Christ.
\nWherefore let us cry out to her with all our strength:
\nHail, fulfillment of the Creator’s plan.<\/p>\n

Kontakion <\/em><\/u>
\n
The most pure temple of the Saviour,
\nthe most precious bridal chamber, the Virgin,
\nthe sacred treasury of God’s glory,
\nenters today into the house of the Lord,
\nbringing with her the grace of the divine Spirit.
\nWherefore the angels of God sing to her:
\nBehold the heavenly Tabernacle.<\/p>\n

The angels were stunned as they beheld the most pure one coming in,
\nand they said: O Wonder. The Virgin enters into the Holy of Holies.
\nO Mother of God, you are the precious Ark of God:
\nno profane hand may touch you.
\nBut the lips of the faithful will never cease to sing your praise,
\nrepeating with joy the angel’s word:
\nO pure Virgin, you are indeed raised above all creatures.<\/p>\n
