The world no longer has Fulton Sheen. But we do have James Martin, S.J. (Department of Full Disclosure: he’s a friend and, since his office is just a few blocks from mine, a sometime luncheon companion.) <\/p>\n

His book “My Life With the Saints”<\/a> is nothing less than a modern Catholic classic, and will be read and re-read for a long time to come — long after this particular Deacon’s bench has turned to sawdust. <\/p>\n
