I normally don’t want to stray too far afield of our Catholic faith here, but I found this item<\/a> in the Washington Post quite interesting, on a number of fronts. <\/p>\n

First, it was written (separately) by the legendary Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward.<\/p>\n

Second, it delves into the shared faith of two radically different types of Christians, Hillary Clinton and George W. Bush.<\/p>\n

And finally, it showcases the laudable efforts some mainstream newspapers are making to give time and attention to issues of God and faith. The Washington Post’s online “On Faith”<\/a> section has become one of the most consistently interesting attempts to present a wide range of voices, from a variety of religions. I hope it continues. <\/p>\n
