Some people, of course, will wear <i>anything<\/i> to church.  <\/p>\n<p>Which brings me to political buttons. <\/p>\n<p>Shortly after Labor Day, I began to notice a few people coming up for communion wearing Obama buttons.  As time went on, the buttons got bigger.  Now, I&#8217;m noticing something else: people beginning to wear McCain buttons.  <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a disorienting experience, and sometimes makes me feel like I&#8217;m not at mass, but at a political rally.
