I was preparing to begin my freshman year at the University of Maryland, and I had a lot on my mind.   <\/p>\n<p>But countless Elvis fans, I&#8217;m sure, do remember, and many have converged on Graceland to pay tribute to The King, who passed into eternal life on August 16th, 1977.    <\/p>\n<p>Luckily for us, someone has found some <a href=\"http:\/\/romanmiscellany.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/five-catholic-facts-about-elvis.html\">strong Catholic connections<\/a> to The King.
