Although he was, of course, named for the patron saint of deacons, he feels some misguided attachment to that <i>other<\/i> St. Stephen, whose feast is today, August 16.  He has even referred to him several times on his TV show.  (I&#8217;m sure the only thing that prevents him from paying similar homage to the original St. Stephen is that <i>his<\/i> feast falls the day after Christmas, when all the Colberts are busy with the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Boxing_Day\">Boxing Day<\/a> festivities.)   <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, this has not been lost on the hardworking team of blogging professionals over at <a href=\"http:\/\/catholiccolbert.com\/\">The Word: Catholic Colbert<\/a>.  They&#8217;ve posted a couple very amusing clips of My Close Personal Friend chatting about the saint.
