Famously Eleanor Roosevelt insisted, “You must do the thing you think you
\ncannot do.”  <\/span>Eleanor elevated
\nherself above her fears by lifting her thinking into the realm of what is
\npossible. <\/p>\n

Do you have someone in your life who inspires you?  <\/span>I have long held Eleanor as a cherished
\nrole model.  <\/span>I am blessed with an
\nheroic friend and fellow author, Kathleen Gallagher Everett.  <\/span>Her daily reminder, borrowed from “Secret Agent L,” is, “Be kind: no
\nexceptions.”  <\/span>When she sends a
\nstudent on their way she encourages, “Now get out there and do some good in the
\nworld.”  <\/span>Like, Eleanor, she is
\ndriven toward the good with a practical desire to elevate the experiences and
\nconditions of whomever she can. 
\n<\/span>These women work toward superior circumstances not because they are easy
\nor convenient but because they are POSSIBLE.  <\/span><\/p>\n

I am blessed to have role models who inspire me to daily act
\ntoward the good.  <\/span>Steve Maraboli of
\nEmpoweredLivingRadio.com summarizes our daily opportunities for good in this way, <\/p>\n

“One kind gesture, one person at a time, one day at a time.”<\/p>\n

As I sauntered away from my work day with the waning dusk
\nhurrying me home…I whispered my thanks to Eleanor and my friends, for the
\nmyriad ways they reach above the uncertainties of any day and inspire me to remember my own saying, <\/p>\n

         <\/span>“Every
\npossibility begins with the courage to imagine.”<\/p>\n

What possibilities will you have the courage to imagine and
