180 Ways To Spread Contagious Enthusiasm:  <\/span>The “How To” Book for Everyone. <\/span><\/p>\n

This advice is oriented toward business
\nsettings but the concepts translate just as well in to your personal and home
\nlife.  <\/span>Enthusiasm is a key element
\nof my most enjoyable moments and days. 
\n<\/span>In fact: it’s my focus word for this week:  <\/span>all I have to do is glance up from my work arc (that’s what
\nI call the area of my  <\/span>desk  <\/span>where I do all my writing) and there is
\nthe reminder:  <\/span>Enthusiastic!  <\/span>And the picture is backed up by another
\nimportant quality (Gratitude featured on my Bold Inspirations interactive art
\nblock from Demdaco).<\/span><\/p>\n

Want to build contagious enthusiasm
\nwith your team and throughout your organization?  Here are a few of my
\nfavorite tips and techniques for your consideration:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022               
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>Start every meeting with 3 minutes of “Good News.”
\nAsk people in the room to share any good thing that has happened to them, to
\ntheir family, in their community, or in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022               
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>Have a bulletin board where you post pictures of
\nemployees’ families, weddings, graduations, vacations, new grandchildren, and
\nother successes.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022               
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>Sponsor community service projects with employee
\nparticipation – clean up litter, help feed the homeless, build houses with
\nHabitat for Humanity, hold educational fairs for the community.<\/span><\/p>\n

         <\/span>Hold
\n“grapevine” meetings (informal meetings with an open          <\/span>agenda giving all
\nemployees a chance to set rumors straight) at          <\/span>least
\nonce a month to enhance communication and get worries          <\/span>and concerns out in
\nthe open.<\/span><\/p>\n
