The 71-year-old actress was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital, her former co-star Ben Jones shared on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBreaking news! Our dear Catherine Bach has just been admitted to the hospital in Los Angeles on an emergency basis,\u201d Jones wrote, as reported by Parade. \u201cCatherine has an embolism that probably developed as a result of a recent surgery. We will keep you posted, and Catherine will share her story as soon as she is recovered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jones, who played Cooter Davenport on the hit CBS show, added that Bach was deeply disappointed to miss a scheduled fan event. \u201cPlease keep her in your thoughts and prayers,\u201d he urged, signing the post with his wife, Alma.<\/p>\n<p>The news quickly spread across social media, with fans flooding the comments section with messages of encouragement, love, and faith. \u201cPrayers for her. Hopefully she has a speedy recovery,\u201d one person wrote. Another added, \u201cCatherine Bach, you are in my prayers. Get well soon.\u201d Others called the news \u201cheartbreaking\u201d and sent \u201clots of healing prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bach had been scheduled to appear at Cooter\u2019s Place in Nashville on November 1 and 2 for a fan meet-and-greet. The event\u2019s official page initially announced, \u201cCatherine Bach, the one and only Daisy Duke, will be appearing at Cooter\u2019s Garage in Nashville.\u201d After learning of her hospitalization, the post was updated to confirm her cancellation \u201cdue to a medical emergency.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jones, who owns multiple Cooter\u2019s Place locations, assured fans that Bach\u2019s health remains the top priority. He promised to provide updates as she continues to recover.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine Bach became a household name through her portrayal of Daisy Duke in &#8220;The Dukes of Hazzard,&#8221; which aired from 1979 to 1985.
