Brad Arnold, lead singer of the rock band 3 Doors Down, is continuing to face his stage 4 cancer diagnosis with inspiring faith and optimism. Nearly two months after revealing he has clear cell renal cell carcinoma that has spread to his lung, the 46-year-old gave fans a hopeful update\u2014and a powerful reminder of God’s strength.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of folks asked how I was doing the other day. I\u2019m doin\u2019 great, fam!\u201d Arnold shared in a July 6 post on social media<\/a>. \u201cAlmost every day, I feel a little better. Things seem to be going great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arnold expressed deep gratitude for the prayers and support he’s received and made it clear where his strength is coming from: \u201cWith so much faith behind me and my own faith within me, I have no doubt of the outcome of this fight. God will continue to fight this battle for me … and God doesn\u2019t fail.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arnold first shared the heartbreaking diagnosis back in June through an emotional video. He said he began feeling sick weeks earlier and, after undergoing tests, was told he had stage 4 cancer that had metastasized to his lung. The band quickly announced it would cancel its upcoming summer tour\u2014originally slated to include shows with Creed, Nickelback, and Daughtry\u2014so Arnold could focus on treatment.<\/p>\n
