Kate Beckinsale’s fans have been worried about her health ever since she has been posting photos of her in a hospital bed over the past few days. The actress, 50, first shared that she was in the hospital after she took to Instagram to wish her mother a happy U.K. Mother’s Day. In the series of photos, Beckinsale is seen in a hospital bed, looking teary-eyed. \u201cHappy birthday and U.K. Mother\u2019s Day this last week to my incredible mother,\u201d she captioned the post. \u201cThank you to those that love us and support us when it\u2019s s— and try to make sure there are some bits that aren\u2019t. And for looking after our dogs when we can\u2019t, and lead us to remember happy things when we can\u2019t. And turn up when we are sick and sit with us . . And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love.\u201d The very first photo on the post is a screenshot of texts with Beckinsale\u2019s mother in which she thanks her daughter for her \u201cfabulous\u201d presents. Beckinsale responded: \u201cGod I\u2019m so relieved I was a little impaired.\u201d<\/p>\n

Days later, Beckinsale shared a photo to her Instagram stories where she is seen cuddling with her cat, Willow, in her hospital bed. She captioned the photo, “Visitor.” The actress has yet to reveal why she has been in the hospital, but many fans speculate that it could possibly be due to a ruptured ovarian cyst. In 2019, Beckinsale opened up about her experience with ovarian cysts where she shared photos of her in the hospital with the caption, \u201cTurns out a ruptured ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry. So thankful to everyone who looked after me,\u201d she captioned two hospital bed photos at the time, adding \u201c#wobbly.\u201d The actress has not given the reason as to why she is in the hospital, but fans are wishing her the best for a quick recovery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
