On a recent episode of \u201cVanderpump Rules,\u201d Madix shut down castmate Scheana Shay\u2019s concerns about Sandoval after Lisa Vanderpump told her and Lala Kent that he had been experiencing suicidal thoughts after being criticized online after his months-long affair with former castmate Rachel Leviss.<\/p>\n<p>While it was a \u201cpersonal trigger\u201d for Vanderpump, who lost her brother to suicide and touched Kent and Shay equally, Madix found Sandoval\u2019s admission \u201cannoying\u201d and \u201cmanipulative.\u201d Shay shared, \u201cHere\u2019s where I\u2019m now personally struggling. \u2019Cause we went over to Lisa\u2019s today, me and Lala. All three of us were in tears. She was very emotional because she says she\u2019d seen a lot of similarities with her brother before he passed away, and she\u2019s very concerned, and she asked us just to ease up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Madix replied, \u201cTom and her brother are very different people; I\u2019m sorry. He still will not take responsibility for what he did. So, ease up?! I\u2019m not gonna be like, \u2018Hey everybody, it\u2019s me, Ariana, on my Instagram Story, if you guys could just, like, be nice to my ex-boyfriend who did all these things&#8230;\u2019 That\u2019s not happening.\u201d While the\u00a0\u201cDancing With the Stars\u201d alum said she understands Tom has had some struggles with his mental health post-Scandoval, she believes he very much brought it upon himself.<\/p>\n<p>Madix said in a confessional, \u201cI can understand that he has had some thoughts and some feelings, but those thoughts and those feelings are based on a situation he created in which he didn\u2019t give a f&#8211;k about anybody else\u2019s mental health. I know I\u2019m a b&#8212;h saying this, but, like, it just feels a little bit annoying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wka9aZTIBKw?si=SkyFLZFqbli9ynx4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Shay, who herself was still reeling from her conversation with Lisa, continued to make her plea to Ariana, reminding her of her \u201camazing\u201d friendship with Tom, but that was quickly dismissed, with the Something About Her co-owner calling the years-long relationship ungenuine, as she proceeded to question his character and intentions. Madix said, \u201cAs soon as he\u2019s getting invited to parties again, he\u2019ll be like, \u2018Great. That\u2019s what I wanted. This is a scary f&#8211;king person, that I don\u2019t trust any word that comes out of his mouth because it\u2019s constantly changing.\u201d She added, \u201cAnd it\u2019s all like, to me, it feels like manipulation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the episode, Sandoval voiced his struggles to friend and former castmate Billie Lee and said he often wondered if he would be easier on everyone if he would just \u201cgo away.\u201d Sandoval said of life after news of the affair broke, \u201cThere was all kinds of feelings in my head: pain, anger, sadness, depression, bleakness. I lost all of my friends, and I felt like maybe the best way to show that I\u2019m sorry, and kind of, what I feel like everybody wants is for me to go away.\u201d Ultimately, Sandoval said he just wants to be \u201chappy\u201d again, but doesn\u2019t feel like he\u2019s allowed to.<\/p>\n<p>Whether or not the group will let him seems unlikely at this point, but he is headed with\u00a0<em>most<\/em>\u00a0of the cast on a trip to Lake Tahoe, proving that maybe there is hope for reconciliation after all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ariana Madix isn\u2019t ready to make amends with Tom Sandoval, and she\u2019s not ready for her friends to make amends, either.
