While your body isn\u2019t invaded by an active infection at the time, it does tip your body off that your body may come in contact with it sometime in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know certain medications can cause your body temperature to rise? That\u2019s why it\u2019s so important to monitor your body\u2019s temperature after taking new medication. In addition, certain inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus can also cause body temperatures to spike.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of medical causes, there are also everyday things you may be doing that will cause your temperature to spike.
