Wow.<\/strong> I love this idea. LOVE IT.<\/p>\n

When I was a kid, I spent hours doodling. I drew highly detailed spaceships, space stations, and the cold, rugged landscapes of undiscovered planets (complete with alien outposts). I drew elaborate circus scenes and cityscapes and skyscrapers. I had a very developed imagination and a modicum of artistic skill, but my drawings never turned out exactly as I’d hoped. I was constantly drawing but I was also constantly frustrated.<\/p>\n

I so<\/em> could have used Imaginawesome<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A software engineer (and talented artist) named Garrett Miller<\/a> started this project with exactly my childhood problem in mind: Kids who have endless creativity but without the artistic chops (or fine motor skills) to fully realize their ideas. So he has kids submit<\/a> their drawings to him and then he adds his own “awesome dust” to them, helping them realize their vision.<\/p>\n

Here’s a “secret fort”<\/strong> designed by a 7 year-old named Archie<\/a>, with Miller’s re-imagining below it:<\/p>\n
