LOVE IT.<\/p>\n<p>When I was a kid, I spent hours doodling. I drew highly detailed spaceships, space stations, and the cold, rugged landscapes of undiscovered planets (complete with alien outposts). I drew elaborate circus scenes and cityscapes and skyscrapers. I had a very developed imagination and a modicum of artistic skill, but my drawings never turned out exactly as I&#8217;d hoped. I was constantly drawing but I was also constantly frustrated.<\/p>\n<p>I <em>so<\/em> could have used <a href=\"http:\/\/imaginawesome.com\" target=\"_blank\">Imaginawesome<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A software engineer (and talented artist) named <a href=\"http:\/\/heyitsgarrett.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Garrett Miller<\/a> started this project with exactly my childhood problem in mind: Kids who have endless creativity but without the artistic chops (or fine motor skills) to fully realize their ideas. So he has kids <a href=\"http:\/\/imaginawesome.com\/reimagine\" target=\"_blank\">submit<\/a> their drawings to him and then he adds his own &#8220;awesome dust&#8221; to them, helping them realize their vision.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s a &#8220;secret fort&#8221;<\/strong> designed by a <a href=\"http:\/\/imaginawesome.com\/post\/7472454503\/archie-age-7-secret-fort-this-is-a\" target=\"_blank\">7 year-old named Archie<\/a>, with Miller&#8217;s re-imagining below it:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/262\/2011\/07\/imaginawesome.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-270\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/262\/2011\/07\/imaginawesome.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"587\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s a &#8220;volcano fight&#8221;<\/strong> by <a href=\"http:\/\/imaginawesome.com\/post\/6163530575\/jacqui-age-7-volcano-fight-its-best-to-let\" target=\"_blank\">Jacque, age 7<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/262\/2011\/07\/imaginawesome2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-271\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/262\/2011\/07\/imaginawesome2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"700\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Reason #143 I love the Internet is that it makes stuff like this possible.
