I’ve already mentioned how the love planet’s stay in Capricorn from January 8 to February 1, 2013 will put a serious spin on relationships. But Jeff’s blog goes more into detail about how this will also affect our personal issues of self-worth.<\/p>\n

Jeff’s blog is an important reminder that there’s another big lesson with Venus in Capricorn. That is, it’s not just about loving and committing to others — it’s about loving ourselves.<\/p>\n

After all, you know that saying — you can’t love someone else until you love yourself. It’s true!<\/p>\n

As someone who has battled low self-esteem at times, I get it. It’s hard to be your best for someone else if you’re suffering from insecurity or preoccupied with your own inferiority complex. But I do think this transit can help with those things.<\/p>\n

The core message of Venus in Capricorn is that love is about respect and trust, both of which must be earned. It takes time to do so with another person, of course, but it can take just as much time to learn to respect and trust and ultimately love yourself.<\/p>\n

Now is the time to focus on loving yourself more because Capricorn has the energy and dedication to do the work necessary! This is the best way to build a foundation for a successful partnership with someone else, so use the love planet’s current Capricorn energy and get going.<\/p>\n
