\"Get<\/a>I’m so excited for Thanksgiving! Next to Halloween, it’s my all-time favorite holiday. That’s because it’s all about food and family, which are the things that make life so delicious.<\/p>\n

Of course, those are also the things that make life so complicated, and this year it could get more complicated than ever thanks to Mercury in retrograde on Thanksgiving Day.<\/p>\n

I know a lot of folks will be hitting the road right about now to get to their families, and whether you’re driving or flying or riding your horse-drawn carriage over the river and through the woods to Granny’s house, I would urge you to give those buggy tires a kick before you go.<\/p>\n

Mercury Retrograde affects travel in a big way, so expect complications and delays — and even better, prepare for them. Double-check your flight times and pack a Power Bar so you won’t be hungry if you’re stuck on a plane for a long time. Have your car serviced before hitting the highway, and don’t forget to pack the most important thing: A sense of humor.<\/p>\n

Things are bound to go a little wrong, but if you can laugh it off you’ll get through it with much less stress. Especially when the thermostat on your oven breaks and the turkey is burnt to a crisp. Did I mention that could happen? Mercury also rules technology.<\/p>\n

Mercury Retrograde could also show up as an univinted guest at the turkey table. People are more prone to misunderstandings now, so if you’ve got one of those big, loud TV families who like to argue when they gather together, get ready for it to be worse this year. But if you bring your sense of humor to the table, you could save the holiday!<\/p>\n
