I say that because the Moon moves into moody Cancer today, which always intensifies emotions and can make many of us feel overly sensitive and insecure.\u00a0 (Man, I sure don’t need any more help with THAT.)<\/p>\n

The Moon is strong in Cancer because that’s its home sign, and it tends to make us a little bit needy. Gone are the carefree, lighthearted feelings we’ve had over the past few days. Now we want to be nurtured, and to spend time with close friends and family who make us feel safe and secure.<\/p>\n

This is a great day to stick close to home and snuggle up under a pile of cats, if you know what I mean.<\/p>\n

The good news is that the Cancer Moon is also making a smooth trine with spiritual planet Neptune and hooking up with love planet Venus, so emotions will stay pretty even for most of the day. There might not be any purring, but we’ll be able to keep the scratching and biting to a minimum.<\/p>\n

The Cancer Moon trine Neptune also prevents us from being able to express our feelings very well, but that’s OK considering our cats probably wouldn’t understand what we’re talking about anyway. My own cats only understand four words: “Here, kitty kitty. Dinner!”<\/p>\n
