Combine that with my gabby Gemini Sun, and let’s just say I tend to communicate in a theatrical manner — which is probably how I’ve managed to become a successful writer. I’m also pretty entertaining company at the dinner table, if I do say so myself.<\/p>\n

I’ve been compared to a “Chatty Cathy” doll more times than I can count, and if I were to choose a backup career it would be as a stand-up comedian. I’m a wisecracking storyteller who doesn’t take life too seriously, and while that may drive some people a little nuts — well, I think the world needs light people like me to balance out the dark.<\/p>\n

And this high-spirited week, I’m excited to report that I won’t be the only Chatty Cathy comic at the dinner table. Get ready, people, because now that the Sun and Mercury are both in Leo, people will be expressing themselves more than ever.<\/p>\n

There’s going to be a lot of competing “me, me, me” chatter and storytelling all around, especially on Wednesday, when Mercury in Leo makes a trine to Uranus in Aries.<\/p>\n

Astrologer Maria DeSimone says this trine will trigger original ideas and more than a few “Eureka” moments — and my guess is with all this outgoing Leo energy, people might actually cry out “EUREKA!” when those moments happen.<\/p>\n

I wonder, did the Cathy doll ever cry “Eureka!” when her string was pulled?<\/p>\n

My own favorite expression of surprised enthusiasm is “HOT DAMN!” — which is basically just a more dramatic, attention-getting and theatrical way of shouting “Eureka!” And probably not something sweet little Cathy would say. But that’s just me and my Leonine way with words.<\/p>\n
