Everyone knew she had Ohio locked down, but it’s a shame she had to resort to negative campaign tactics in order to pick up the additional two percentage points she needed to best Obama in Texas.
Spiritually speaking, negative campaign ads and pot-shot campaign statements and speeches only degrade the process. Everyone knows that. I agree with Obama. I think people are sick of that. And yet, Hillary going negative in the last four days before this week’s big primary tests in Texas and Ohio made just enough difference in Texas to give her the edge.
I wish that she could have kept the contest elevated. But when you’re losing, you begin to do these kinds of things.
What should be remembered is that two weeks ago everyone was predicting that Clinton would win both Ohio and Texas fairly easily. It’s only been in the past several days that the pundits began to suggest that Obama might have a chance — at least in Texas. The fact that he got within two percentage points there is a tribute to his candidacy.
And so now it’s on to Pennsylvania — which Clinton will also win. And then it will be a race to see who gets the nod from the Super Delegates at the Democratic National Convention.
John McCain’s victories last night were no surprise to anyone…but the fact that he prevailed and won the GOP nomination is. A few weeks ago he was considered out of it completely, his campaign in shambles. His comeback is remarkable, and he deserves congratulations. He made his comeback without a single negative or abusive comments about any of his opponents.
And so now, on to the regular business at hand on this blog at Midweek…
Wednesday is Question and Answer Day on the blog…a time for exploring many of the questions that people have recently asked about the nine Conversations with God books and the New Spirituality. Here, in this week’s entry, are two brief exchanges with readers…
Question: What is the stand on evolution in the New Spirituality?
Neale’s Response: The New Spirituality makes it clear that the purpose of all of life is evolution. Or, as CWG puts it, “growth.”
The purpose of life is to recreate ourselves anew in the next golden moment of Now in the next grandest version of the greatest vision ever we held about Who We Are. In other words: evolution.
Evolution occurs across the expanse of Space and Time — which is the Single Moment of Now, stretched out beyond imagining, or, if you will, to “infinity.”
God IS evolution, occurring. The process of evolution is the process of God “godding.” Humanity is part of that process, and is engaged in it at every moment. We are God “godding.”
Question: Hi Neale,
Firstly let me say that this is my 2nd attempt at asking a question regarding this subject. I have mulled it over and over in my head. If I may begin?
You say in your teleclass ‘Happier than God’ and the ‘unspoken secret in the law of attraction’, that in order for something you call forth to manifest its opposite will appear to provide you with a contextual field in which to experience that thing you are desiring…

…but are we not coming from a contextual field already? CWG book 3 states that everything has already been created, so you need not call forth the opposite of your desire in order to experience your desire.
We already know hot and cold, left and right, light and dark.
One step further, do we not experience that which we expect. If we begin to expect the opposite will we then not experience the opposite over and over?
If I am coming from place of no money, and calling forth the experience of riches, why should no money keep showing up before my riches do?
Im already in that place of contrast.
The example you give of the light knowing itself as light and wanting to experience light, calls forth the dark in order to have the experience of being the light. So in this example all it has around it is the light. We are living in a universe which already provides the opposite of everything we desire. And it is from this place that desire are born. How does the law of opposites work within this context?
Sorry if I am dragging this around, hope you understand. Looking forward to your answer.
bless
Ana
Neale’s Response: Hello, Ana…
Good and interesting questions. It is clear that you have looked at the CwG material deeply. So let’s look at some of what you’ve said here.
Yes, it is true that we already have a contextual field all around us. Not everyone, however, is experiencing that contextual field fully in their direct experience. The “opposite” of what they wish to attract is not necessarily part of their daily experience — or not a large enough part of it to create a sufficiently contrasting energy field.
This is often the case with people who, for instance, want more love in their life (nearly everyone — not “everyone,” I am clear, but nearly everyone) has someone who loves them. In fact, in many cases, several or even many people who do. Still, they can be looking for their “perfect life mate.” In order to create this (nothing is every really created. It is merely recognized, or “seen again,” in our experience), they will first create — or may already have created — NOT having their perfect mate.
Often the Superconscious creates a Contextual Field ahead of us. That is, it knows already what the Soul wishes to experience, and seeds the ground in advance. It is good to remember that our “higher self” is one step ahead of us. Always.
Sometimes, however, even though we are already immersed in a Contextual Field that is Perfect for the “creation” of our next-desired experience (financial abundance, for instance…to use your example), we do not see this energy as creative, but rather, as destructive; as an obstacle rather than a tool. People who see their present experience as an obstacle to what they want do not understand what is happening. They will often, therefore, create even MORE of that which they do not want — in order to even more fully experience that which they DO.
Several years ago, when I was earnestly seeking financial stability in my life (I had very little money then), I called forth even more of an experience of poverty — eventually winding up as an actual street person for just shy of a year — because apparently this is what I needed to sufficiently power past my inner feeling that I never had enough money.
This is the “hair-of-the-dog-that-bit-you” approach that works exactly the same way with innoculations against diseases. You do know, don’t you, that in order to gain health and actually be FREE of such diseases as measles, small pox, etc., that you actually have to GIVE yourself the “disease” in the form of an infecting innocation. Your body then rushes its natural defense systems into place…and you become effectively immune to the disease you just gave yourself a dose of!
Metaphysical process is not all that different from our physical process — and so is rather easy to explain, and to understand…
Your Superconscious precedes you through life, creating the Right and Perfect situations, conditions, and circumstances allowing you to express and experience the next grandest version of the greatest vision ever you held about Who You Are. Often you will do nothing about this, however. Often, you have to be “hit in the head by a 2×4.”
That is what we are discussing here, Ana. I was one of the stubborn ones. It was not enough for me to be low on cash most months. I had to get down to NO cash — none whatsoEVER — and make myself HOMELESS, before I could make my move into financial stability and abundance.
CwG says, “What you resists, persists.” The problem was, I was resisting my earlier, smaller version of poverty, not knowing that this was the Law of Opposites already playing its effect in my life and preparing the way for me to know and experience financial stability. By resisting my financial lack, instead of embracing it with thanks, all I was doing was recreating more of it — all the while saying “I want this to stop!”
The trick in life, as wonderful Byron Katie says, is to stop resisting was IS; stop opposing life. I met Katie (she is called by her last name, affectionately, by everyone who knows her) for the first time a couple of weeks ago. She offered an evening program in the town where I live. I was deeply touched by her work and by her presence. If you read no other book in your lifetime, do not, do NOT, miss reading Loving What Is by Byron Katie. Then go to YouTube and write in her name and watch the videos of her extraordinary work.
Then do The Work. Stop opposing Life.
Period.
End of sentence.
(Ask Neale may be accessed on a daily basis in the Messengers’ Circle at Neale’s personal website: www.nealedonaldwalsch.com.
