This week’s recommended reading: Only Love Is Real: A Story of Soulmates Reunited, by Brian Weiss.
Although this book is ten years old, it still holds much for us to contemplate beneficially.
The book description from Amazon.com tells us that in Brian Weiss’ earlier bestseller Many Lives, Many Masters, nearly one and half million readers met Catherine. In a hypnotic trance, she summoned memories of past lifetimes, demonstrated an astonishing ability to transmit transcendental messages, and turned the life of a respectable psychiatrist upside down.
In the book we are discussing here, Dr. Weiss takes his research one breathtaking step further. He portrays two strangers, Elizabeth and Pedro, who are unaware that they have been lovers throughout the long centuries until fate brings them together again. Arguing that each and every one of us has a soulmate whom we have loved in past incarnations, Dr. Weiss opens up entirely new worlds.
I know Brian Weiss personally, and find him to be one of the kindest, most gentle men I have ever met. I must assume that his work in the world, and the writing he has done, has had at least a little to do with how Brian himself conducts his life. On that basis alone, I would immediately recommend any book that Brian has written.
If you have ever met someone whom you are certain you have known before — from a previous time upon the earth — you will find this text intriguing, entrancing, and exciting.
Do you think that such a thing is possible? Do you believe that we do, in fact, reincarnate and live many lifetimes here? If so, do you think that we reunite from time to time with souls with whom we have been deeply connected before?
If you have ever had soul encounter with another who feels like someone you have traveled deeply down Love’s road with in another Time and Place, you have experienced something that you cannot describe to another…but that you know in your heart must be real. How could there be any doubt? What else could possibly create this feeling? What could produce such intensity?
Enjoy this book. If you are a romantic AND a student of spirituality, you will love it.
= = = = = = = = = = = = =
You’ve been exposed to the concepts and principles from the Conversations with God material. Now the time has come to integrate this New Spirituality into our daily lives.
Come to Portland, Oregon, Friday night, February 1 and be the first to experience how to turn these spiritual truths into a functional reality! Join me on this special evening as I speak from my new book, Happier Than God, and engage in a lively dialogue with audience members in a “Q&A” session, followed by a book signing.
That’s this coming Friday evening in Portland, Oregon.
You may pre-register at:
www.regonline.com/SNSTakesFlight

Friday is Book Day on the blog, when we take a look at books – old and new — that I highly recommend you not miss.
