Here’s this week’s entry…
Topic:Where’s the magic in life?
Question asked by: Tiare Gonzalez
Question: Hi Neale! I think that we as humans want to believe in magic, adventures, and the unknown. That’s why we are so amazed with magicians, harry potter, psychics, angels, past lifes, etc. But if we create everything, where’s the magic??
Sometimes I think that this approach of “we create everything” makes me want more things rather than watching the magic of the universe happen. I know this is a weird way of looking at this, but the “we create everything” seems a little boring because now I know what will happen, or at least I know I did everything. And I think we as humans LOVE not knowing what will happen. We love to be spectators as well as creators. We love to discover sometimes more than create. Sometimes I wonder how magicians have fun and get amazed, because they know the tricks. I used to believe in guardian angels and would talk to them (not seeing them), but now I feel that I create them, so they’re not really there because I can uncreate them.
So, where is the magic in the Universe? And by magic I mean that we don’t create it but just be amazed at things out of the ordinary?
Neale’s Response: The “magic” IS the fact that we can create anything that we wish! And, if you really like the “unexpected” (that is, after all, what you are talking about here), don’t worry about a thing. Life will present you with plenty of that.
If you are REALLY caught in the “I create everything” maze, don’t fret. Simply tell yourself that you want to create at least three totally unexpected things every week. TELL the world, tell LIFE, to “surprise” you three times a week with a bit of “magic.” Then sit back and watch it do so — at your command!
(Ask Neale may be accessed on a daily basis in the Messengers’ Circle at Neale’s personal website: www.nealedonaldwalsch.com.
