Muslims, Christians, and Jews remember, and profoundly affirm,
\nthat they are followers of the one God,
\nChildren of Abraham, brothers and sisters;
\nenemies begin to speak to one another;
\nthose who were estranged join hands in friendship;
\nnations seek the way of peace together.<\/p>\n

Strengthen our resolve to give witness to these
\ntruths by the way we live.
\nGive to us:
\nUnderstanding that puts an end to strife;
\nMercy that quenches hatred, and
\nForgiveness that overcomes vengeance.
