You have created us to live in community,
\nO God of love;
\nbless our friends who provide us
\nwith the grace and love of an extended family.
\nEndow them with the riches of your blessings:
\ngood health, sight, and mobility,
\nthat they may enjoy the wonders of your creation
\nand share their delight with others.
\nBless them with keen minds and compassionate hearts
\nthat they may create a better life for all.
\nGuard them from injustice, oppression, and evil
\nthat they may know freedom and hope lifelong.
