Occasionally I meet people who sincerely believe that if they follow Christ, their lives should be free of problems. After all, they say, didn&#8217;t Jesus promise us peace? Won\u2019t God take away our troubles and give us health and prosperity, if only we have enough faith?<br \/>\nThe Bible, however, doesn&#8217;t promise this. Yes, Christ gives us <i>inner peace<\/i>\u2014but He hasn&#8217;t promised to always give us <i>outer peace<\/i> or freedom from problems and difficulties.<br \/>\nWhat battles are you facing now?
