I must hasten to point out that not everyone is celebrating Eid today – many muslims are abiding by the sightings which indicate Eid is tomorrow. One of my favorite bloggers, Mr. Moo, offers his take on the opacity of Eid’s timing<\/a> – subtle, but brilliant. But his true genius is in the lolcats<\/a>. My favorite:<\/p>\n

Still, regardless of which day we observe Eid, the final days of Ramadan are still a time in which all muslims are in a joyous mood (even the ones still fasting \ud83d\ude42 That exuberance is infectious – for example, here’s a wonderful Eid Hymn, courtesy of Nell Minow<\/a> (aka Movie Mom<\/a>):<\/p>\n
