My prediction is that Michael Steele will be RNC Chair. Republicans like him, and Christine Todd Whitman (whose essay on the Republicans being a party of solutions, not ideology<\/a>, was excellent), are the way for the party to become politically relevant again. The “Palinist” wing of the GOP is going to go into a paroxysm of anger if Steele wins, but such splenetic conservatives<\/a> are more harm than help.<\/p>\n
