Shake Shack\u2019s promotion required a minimum purchase of $10 and features a sandwich described as a crispy, white-meat chicken breast with lettuce, pickles and mayo. The company says that its employees \u201cpride ourselves on our Chicken Shack, which is available 7 days a week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The announcement on the Shake Shack website referred to the recent news that Chick-fil-A is shifting away from its \u201cNo Antibiotics Ever policy.\u201d \u201cAnd what makes our Chicken Shack even better is that it\u2019s made with antibiotic-free chicken, something not everyone can say these days.\u201d Shake Shack\u2019s campaign is seen as a strategic move to capitalize on Chick-fil-A&#8217;s closing on Sundays.<\/p>\n<p>Chick-fil-A\u2019s closure on Sundays is rooted in its founder Truett Cathy\u2019s decision to allow employees time for rest and worship. This policy has been a distinctive aspect of Chick-fil-A\u2019s brand identity, aligning with its corporate purpose: \u201cTo glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us.\u201d Shake Shack\u2019s website boasts of its alleged superior taste and health-conscious preparation, available seven days a week.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JiDSCSCIRIw?si=3dnh2RuoN-jMpU62\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Previously committed to serving only antibiotic-free chicken, Chick-fil-A announced a policy change to use poultry that avoids antibiotics necessary to human medicine, citing supply chain efficiency and quality concerns.
