Free Chapel Church in Gainesville, GA, extended its revival services for the second week in a row after a call to revival exploded from its altars. It all began on October 23rd during a planned service with evangelist <\/span>Perry Stone, Jr.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0as the guest speaker. Stone was set to close out the church\u2019s \u201cSign of the Times\u201d series on October 22nd when it became clear God was moving. \u201cI was actually overwhelmed to see the massive crowd of men and women and many young people that packed out the large sanctuary to receive the word of the Lord. When the altar call was given, the front, and all the aisles, were filled with people seeking God for forgiveness, and to be free from offenses and hurts,\u201d Stone wrote on Facebook. The church leaders moved to schedule two special revival services that Monday and Tuesday night.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After it became clear that there was a hunger for more, the church decided to extend the services even further, bringing it to the attention of Dr. Malachi O\u2019Brien, who commented about the services on X. By that point, the services had extended into Halloween night, with many young people choosing to forego Halloween activities in order to attend the services instead. \u201cEven on #Halloween #GenZ is on FIRE,\u201d wrote Dr. O\u2019Brien. \u201cI am so encouraged by what the Spirit of the Lord is doing @freechapel @Jentezen. God is not done with America, the Church, or the Next Generation.\u201d Hundreds of people have come forward to the altar and thousands have attended services. \u201cI have never seen more people in the altars seeking God, receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Friday night, hundreds were baptized in the Holy Spirit. We took Saturday off and preached two services on Sunday. And on [Monday] with overflow and everybody on the property, there were over 5,000 people on the property for the revival,\u201d said Stone on\u00a0<\/span>Facebook<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The revival continued with Free Chapel noting on its Facebook page two days ago, \u201c12 days of revival. This is just the beginning. Join us this Sunday at 9&11AM with Pastor @Jentezen Joel 2:28 \u2018I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.\u2019\u201d This past Sunday, the services seemed to have closed with the church\u2019s pastor, Jentezen Franklin, thanking God for what his church had been experiencing. He shared there were nearly 50,000 adults that attended the services in person. He stated that the revival was \u201cjust beginning\u201d and encouraged the congregation to hold onto what God\u2019s Spirit had done in them. \u201cLord, You can do whatever You wanna do,\u201d he prayed. This is just the latest in a series of revivals, starting with the days long revival in Asbury, which has seemingly spread throughout the country. Earlier this year in February, a group of college students through the Georgia Baptist College Ministries (BCM) prayed for revival on college campuses and throughout the state. BCM President John Foxworth led one group in praying Luke 10:2, which says, \u201cAnd he said to them, \u2018The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
