Internet personality and writer Tailah Scroggins recently shared her remarkable journey from the occult into Christian ministry with CBN\u2019s Faithwire, specifically about her belief in the importance and power of deliverance.<\/p>\n<p>At the red carpet premiere of \u201cNefarious,\u201d a new horror film about spiritual warfare and possession, Scroggins said, \u201cDeliverance ministry is the ministry of Jesus, casting out demons. Deliverance was huge in my testimony. God freed me from so much.\u201d Scroggins called herself an \u201cex-New Ager\u201d who was an astrologer until she found Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Scroggins said, \u201cJesus picked me up out of all of that and set me free from depression and anxiety. God can free you, and He\u2019s what you\u2019ve been searching for. That hole in your heart, a relationship isn\u2019t going to fill it, drugs aren\u2019t going to fill it, going to all the false spirituality. Jesus is what you\u2019re searching for.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, Scroggins is using her journey to spiritual liberation to help inspire other young people, saying, \u201cI\u2019m so passionate about deliverance ministry. That\u2019s what I do online and in person.\u201d She also said that she was excited about attending the \u201cNefarious\u201d premiere, saying that spiritual warfare is a hot topic that should be addressed.<\/p>\n<p>She said, \u201cI\u2019m so glad the church is having this conversation.\u201d Scroggins does most of her ministry online and said she saw many young people on social media during the pandemic struggling with hopelessness and depression. That\u2019s when she started <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/discover\/tailah-scroggins-magi\">posting videos on TikTok and other platforms<\/a>, and people responded quickly.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Q2H_91UmaPo\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Scroggins explained, \u201cMillions of people started watching the videos and writing in and saying, \u2018I threw my crystals away. I threw my tarot cards away. I\u2019m free from depression. It\u2019s really cool to see what the Lord is doing through online ministry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nashvillevoyager.com\/interview\/conversations-with-tailah-scroggins\/\">According to Scroggins,<\/a> she grew up in a Christian household with a close connection to Jesus. She said, \u00a0I was raised in a Christian home, but I never personally had a relationship with Jesus until my teenage years. The more I fell in love with Jesus, the more I wanted to write songs for Him.\u201d However, she started to stray from her faith during her college years, causing depression and anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>Scroggins continued, \u201cAt my lowest point, I cried out to Jesus, and He met me in my tiny college apartment, and I rededicated my life to Him then and there. He delivered me from depression and anxiety and filled me with peace and hope.
